We are looking for a talented Senior Media Buyer who will increase revenue and profit for MediaAlpha properties and select advertising partners across multiple verticals (notably, insurance and travel) through the execution of targeted display, native, and social media buying campaigns. This candidate will be responsible for utilizing MediaAlpha's platform and/or third party media buying platforms to track performance, quality, revenue, and profit through all display, native, and social media channels.
End-to-end planning and execution ofcampaigns across display, social, and native channels, as well as some limited affiliate and email marketing programs as needed.
Identify bidding, tracking, and attribution platform requirements for all channels managed and work with internal teams to meet such needs through proprietary and/or third party technologies.
Develop display and social media strategy to extendpaid and organic reach for various partners.
Introduce programmatic marketing and retargeting strategies to develop high-value audience growth opportunities.
Collaborate with UX teams to create source-specific landing pages and optimize user experiences.
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROAS and KPIs).
Design tests to optimize spend and performance based on trends and insights.
Extensive experience with and understanding of direct responsedisplay, social, and native marketplaces and technologies.
Deep experience with and strong product-based understanding of relevant advertising platforms and tracking, attribution, and analytics tools.
Rigorous, quantitative mindset and strong analytical capabilities. Ableto survey raw data, draw appropriate conclusions (based on the amount of available data), and make clear decisions and/or recommendations.
Self-starter who can work autonomously and own all non-paid search channels.
Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, V lookups, data manipulation).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage details and prioritize tasks efficiently with minimal guidance.
Strives to continuously learn and improve relevant skill sets.
B.A. or B.S. required.
