Recruitment Fraud Warning

There have recently been a number of recruitment scams where individuals are contacting job seekers claiming to represent MediaAlpha. These fraudulent activities can include, but are not limited to; job postings offering roles, interview opportunities, or asking for payments to cover a range of expenses.

When applying for roles at MediaAlpha, you will be contacted in one of the following ways:

  • Correspondence through our applicant tracking system with an @mediaalpha.com e-mail address listed in the email; or
  • E-mail directly from a Talent Acquisition or People Operations team member with an @mediaalpha.com e-mail address; or
  • Direct phone call from a member of our Talent Acquisition or People Operations team

Applications are only accepted through the mediaalpha.com/careers page, and our recruitment team will not ask for you to provide personal identifying information such as your social security number, driver’s license number, passport information or bank account information over the phone or via e-mail, nor will they ask you for any payments.

When recruited by our Talent Acquisition team, you will receive a meeting invitation, but recruiters do not require an e-mail or phone number to schedule video calls with you.

If you are a victim of identity theft, contact your local authorities.
